How do you improve indoor air quality?

The sensor data you collect over time will help you pinpoint the exact issues that need correcting, and take targeted action to address them. The specific approach you’ll take may depend on a number of factors, including your individual building, the outdoor environment, and the extent of the problem. You can read more about common strategies used to improve indoor air quality in response to sensor data in this post.

Indoor air quality monitoring is most valuable when done continuously. It can be used as part of a long-term strategy for maintaining a healthy building by helping you:

  • Understand and evaluate your building’s current indoor air quality.
  • Take targeted action to reduce pollutants and fix ventilation issues fast in areas with poor indoor air quality.
  • Stay within desirable indoor air quality parameters going forward by utilizing alerts and notifications.
  • Reassure occupants and other stakeholders that indoor air is safe by sharing dashboard data as needed.

What is the purpose of M8 methanal (carbon) filter?

M8 carbon filter absorbs VOCs like formaldehyde. When used together with MESP filter, the air sterilizers are able to eliminate virus, bacteria particulate matters and remove formaldehyde and tVOCs.

We recommend getting the carbon filter for homes or commercial space that were recently renovated, places with heavy cooking activities or indoor smokers.

How is MESP different from other air clean technologies?

As commonly known, UV lights or UV-C is one of the effective air sterilizing technology in the market but UV radiation is harmful to our eye and skin and some UV-C air sterilizers emits ozone creating a health risk for you and your family. In fact, it’s the most damaging type of UV light out there. Running a UV light technology can be costly in terms of electricity bill and replacing the UV light bulb.

Meanwhile, HEPA technology is an example of air purifier. HEPA filters are a complex mat of pleated fibers that capture virus and bacteria instead of destroying them and therefore need to be replaced regularly.

To resolve the above issues, AirQuality Technology designed MESP technology (Micro-Electrostatic Precipitator) that uses high Voltage, low Wattage concept to totally eliminate virus, bacteria and other particles in the air. The MESP filter is washable and can be used for more than 10 years without losing its effectiveness (Lab Test Proven – News)

How does MESP technology work?

AirQuality MESP (Micro-electrostatic Precipitator) is a high efficient filtration that purify the air with unique intense field dielectric. For further information, please click here MESP Technology.

Can AirQuality MESP air sterilizing purfier kill Covid-19?

MESP air sterilizing purifier has been tested in various labs across the globe. It is proven that MESP air sterilizing purifiers can kill up to 99.99% virus including H1N1 and Covid-19. Please refer to MESP To Fight Covid-19 for further information.

Is there a difference between air sterilizers and air purifiers?

Air Sterilizers eliminate by deactivating virus and bacteria that pass through the filter. Meanwhile, Air Purifiers trap airborne particles that are larger than 0.03μm.

MESP technology is designed for both air sterilizing and purifying purposes.
